[Sights]

The orthodox tsasouna or the prayer chapel is situated almost in the middle of the village near the intersection of the road to Lake Hattujärvi. Especially during the Petru praasniekka in June and on Easter time are services held regularly in the tsasouna. The services are more irregular during the rest of the year. Guided tours of the tsasouna are available for all interested in the summer.

The easternmost point of Finland and the Continental EU is located about fifteen kilometres away from the cottages in Virmajärvi.

Taistelijan Talo houses the local restaurant and has exhibitions on the local wartime history.
